Roy Keane reveals the names of the two (2) Manchester United players that caused their defeat against Liverpool on Sunday (0-3)
Roy Keane didn’t think Man United did a good job of defending before Liverpool scored the first goal at Old Trafford.
Roy Keane questioned where Deuxsair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot were when Liverpool scored the first goal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
After what they thought was an early goal was called off for offside, Liverpool broke the tie with 35 minutes left. Ryan Gravenberch picked off a pass that Casemiro missed, moved forward, slipped in Mohamed Salah, and the forward sent in a beautiful cross for Luis Diaz to score.
Casemiro made the goal by playing a first-time pass that was meant to find Kobbie Mainoo. The Brazilian soon made another mistake that led to Liverpool’s second goal, which was scored by Diaz after Salah set him up.
Keane knew that Casemiro’s pass set up Liverpool’s first goal, but he was furious that there wasn’t enough defense cover in the wide areas. In an attempt, both Mazraoui and Dalot went after Casemiro’s pass, which looked like it would help United move up the field.
Before the break, Keane told Sky Sports, “Casemiro made a mistake here. That is not a first-time pass, no matter how experienced he is.” It’s not worth the risk.
“They are all over the place when they lose the ball.” Listen, every player makes mistakes, but they’re spread out all over the place.
“Look at your right back. Where is it?” Where is your left back? You’re not in charge.
“Liverpool is strong enough to punish them.” You will get beat up by good players.
