Roy Keane was involved in a violent altercation following the Manchester United match, stating, “Please wait in the car park.”

In the aftermath of their 1-1 draw at Portman Road, Roy Keane, the former captain of Manchester United, appeared to request that an Ipswich Town supporter meet him “in the car park” during a heated exchange.

The confrontation occurred when Keane departed the broadcast area, where he and his companions, Kelly Cates, Izzy Christensen, and Jamie Redknapp, were situated to confront a supporter who had descended from the stands.

Keane appeared to gesticulate toward the pitch during a brief exchange before returning to the field, the murmur of jeers from Ipswich fans echoing in his ears.

One fan escalated the situation by exclaiming, “F*** you Keane,” from the upper tier, as production staff escorted him back to his seat, as reported by Mail Online.

In recent online footage, the former Republic of Ireland midfielder appears to request that the supporter meet him in the car park.

Keane asserts, “I have no objection to being abused… [inaudible] meet me in the carpark to discuss it.” “I’ll wait for you in the car park, I’ll wait for you in the car park.”

The 53-year-old was previously in command at Portman Road; however, he resigned in 2021, with the Tractor Boys occupying the 21st position in the Championship.

This is not the first disagreeable experience Keane has encountered during his tenure as a pundit. In August, he expressed his intention to leave the field of punditry within the next decade.

He referenced disagreeable incidents, including an altercation at Emirates Stadium the previous season in which he was headbutted by an Arsenal supporter, according to the Mirror.

Upon contemplation of these experiences, Keane stated, “I am a fan of football; however, the logistics of attending matches, traveling to them, and interacting with fans are a source of frustration.” I was in court a few months ago, and someone headbutted me.

Do you believe that I derive pleasure from that aspect of the experience? Absolutely not. “The games are satisfactory.”

It is a nuisance to navigate to the games, park, and hear individuals shouting your name, whether it is for good or negative. I will not be a pundit in ten years.
