Ruben Amorim’s initial statements as Manchester United’s head coach were,
“I am where I am supposed to be.”After his initial performance as Manchester United’s new head coach, Ruben Amorim is of the opinion that he is “where I am supposed to be.
” Amorim conducted his initial interview in the role on Thursday, speaking with MUTV inside Old Trafford. He discussed the stadium’s legacy and the sense of belonging he has already experienced.
The 39-year-old commenced employment on Monday and conducted meetings at Carrington for the first few days before relocating to Old Trafford yesterday. Amorim is depicted pitchside at Old Trafford in the dark, discussing his initial impressions of the stadium, in a clip published by United’s in-house TV channel.
The interviewer informs Amorim that the location has a “weight” that “lifts you up,” to which Amorim responds, “That’s really funny because I feel very relaxed.”
“I may not feel the weight because it is not game day; however, I am a different person when we have a game.” I am extremely enthusiastic and at ease, you know. I believe I am in the correct position. That is the sensation.
