Scottish professional football manager Scott Brown reveals why Celtic won Rangers in the Scottish Cup final as Ally McCoist explain Celtic fans reaction to the trophy won

It was a dramatic win for Celtic over Rangers at Hampden last weekend in the Scottish Cup, giving them an impressive home double.

Even though the game wasn’t great, Adam Idah was quick on his feet and capitalized on a Jack Butland turnover, sending the sea of green and white behind the goal into raptures.

The team led by Brendan Rodgers held on to win their fourth game against Rangers this season. It was Celtic’s 118th major title and the end of a great season.

The events of last Saturday are a mirror of the Bhoys’ season in many ways. It wasn’t easy for them along the way, but they showed their teeth when it counted to get to the finish line.

There must have been a lot of jitters among Celtic fans at Hampden and around the world, but Scott Brown was always sure that his old team and Rodgers would finish the job.

Scott Brown talked about how he knew Celtic would beat Rangers.

According to The Daily Record, former Celtic captain Brown praised Rodgers’ team for wanting to fight until the end to win the cup. He thinks this is typical of Rodgers’ teams and their ability to get through tough times.

He also said that Rodgers’ calmness was a big part of the Hoops’ success: “You’ve always got to believe, and when you have a manager who is calm and collected, who isn’t erratic on the bench, in the press, or with the players, then it brings calmness to the whole squad.” In a top sports club like this, that’s what you want.

“The boys played really well to squeeze out a 1-0 win in the cup final.” You don’t have to be perfect all the time, but you do need to be on for 90 minutes.

“That’s what Brendan’s team always does.” In the same breath, the guys worked really hard, and this is likely their 55th or 56th game of the season.

“So for the guys to keep going… Still, they worked hard even though they looked a little tired at the end. You can see how much it meant to the players and the fans.

Celtic’s winning attitude goes beyond coaches.
In the past few years, Celtic has become known for winning late and never giving up. This has helped them win almost all of their titles since the turn of the century.

In the past ten years, the club has had unmatched success that has gone beyond any one boss. Key players like Brown, Callum McGregor, and James Forrest have helped to create a winning mentality.

Supporters will remember these great times for a long time, but they also want this trend to keep going for years to come.

When Celtic beat Rangers in the Scottish Cup final over the weekend, they really have something to be proud of.

They already had them, but beating Rangers at Hampden has made the end of the season even better, even though the Scottish Cup doesn’t sit next to the Scottish Premiership trophy in the Parkhead suite.

It’s been four days, and Celtic fans are still bragging. In fact, Celtic fans are so happy that they’ve started making fun of Ally McCoist since the former Rangers striker told them about the texts he’s been getting since Saturday afternoon.

McCoist shares a new Celtic fan song
Now I’ve seen this on Facebook. I’ve seen videos going around social media about a new Celtic fan song that was written after the win at Hampden.

McCoist told Jeff Stelling that the Celtic fans have been making him mad, and he sounded angry as he did so.

[talkSPORT] McCoist said, “That was sent to me by someone.” “You Cannae Shove Your Granny Off a Bus” is the name of a song from up here in Glasgow, right?

“So all the funny Celtic fans have made it into a song like “You Can’t Shove the Goalie in the Box.”

“Which is, yeah, I thought it was funny the first time I heard it, but let’s move on.”

That’s really great of the Celtic fans. This week, what’s really funny is how upset the Rangers fans got over such a clear mistake.

There was almost no logic to Ally McCoist’s “embarrassing” rant about the referees this morning, in which he tried to make it seem like the Rangers have been getting bad calls all season.

That’s not true, that’s clear to everyone. That being said, Celtic has had their fair share of really bad referee calls, but Rodgers still led his team to a league and cup double.

There will likely be even more problems after the Hampden final, but the fact that Celtic won again means that the season is over.
