reports that Ronaldo has declined the chance to transfer clubs this summer and is instead expected to sign a contract extension with Al-Nassr for a reported €400 million. According to Fichajes, Al-Hilal and Al Ahly are two of the teams competing in the Club World Cup and are interested in signing Ronaldo this summer.
However, the 40-year-old is “deeply committed” to Al-Nassr and is anxious to sign new terms with the club. Real Madrid and Chelsea have also been tentatively linked with offering Ronaldo a one-month contract in order to participate in the Club World Cup. Ronaldo is purportedly set to sign a new two-year contract with Al-Nassr, which is valued at an astonishing €200m per year. The Saudi Pro League team is seeking to extend his tenure in Riyadh. Since his arrival at Al-Nassr at the beginning of 2023, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward has scored 91 goals in 102 appearances.
However, he has yet to secure a trophy at the club. Moreover, Ronaldo is expected to prolong his contract with Al-Nassr; however, he has yet to execute a formal agreement. Consequently, there will be ongoing speculation regarding his future until an official announcement is made.
