“So am the Scap g*at” – Bruno Fernandes fires a clear warning message to Michael Owen after recent future transfer update by Manchester United
In the midst of a challenging season at Old Trafford, Bruno Fernandes has lately made a suggestion that his future may not be with Manchester United.
Rather than being concerned about the future of Bruno Fernandes, Michael Owen believes that Manchester United has more pressing issues to address.
This past week, the Portuguese midfielder shared with DAZN Portugal that he would be contemplating the next steps of his career following the conclusion of the European Championships that his national team will be competing in in Germany this summer. The interview added fuel to the fire of conjecture that the captain of United could be leaving Old Trafford stadium.
However, United manager Erik ten Hag has stated that the statements in his mother tongue may have been taken out of context. ten Hag is in charge of United. He reiterated that the 29-year-old player will “definitely” continue to play for the club until the end of his contract, which is set to expire in June of 2026.

Owen, a former striker for Manchester United, has recently disclosed his opinion regarding Fernandes. He is of the opinion that the future of a single individual is not significant at this time, but he has acknowledged that he would have potential suitors. First and foremost, he believes that United should concentrate on making improvements behind the scenes.
Owen stated to Gambling Zone that Bruno is a very excellent player who would be a fantastic fit for a lot of different clubs. When it comes to the current situation, I believe that Manchester United is dealing with a lot more significant issues than worrying about a player here or there.
“Since Sir Alex left, Manchester United has had amazing players, and they have spent more money than anyone else, and look where they are now. First and foremost, it is of utmost importance that they get their things organized off pitches.
“The first step is to find the right manager, and then the next step is to find the right team behind the scenes, which includes scouts and directors. The final step will then be to watch them build.” The attempt to just buy your way with players, on the other hand, has been shown to be unsuccessful. They can go and spend an additional two hundred million pounds, but it won’t make a difference if things aren’t going well behind the scenes.
If you fast forward five years and say that a star player will depart, it will be a disaster. However, at the time, there are much more important things to worry about in terms of a management and the structure that exists behind the scenes.
Who wouldn’t want him, though, given that he can both score and create chances? Despite the fact that I have not watched the interview, I would have believed that the captain of Manchester United would not engage in such behavior and publicly announce his desire to leave the team. Nevertheless, if he does, then he does!”
Despite the difficulties that United has been experiencing, Fernandes has had another good season, where he has scored 15 goals and assisted 11 others across all competitions. Because of an injury, he was unable to play in Monday’s humiliating 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace. This was the first time in his career that he had to miss a game due to an injury. However, he is expected to return on Sunday against Arsenal.
