Brendan Rodgers has been talking about how amazing it was for Celtic to beat Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden on Saturday.
After a nervous 90 minutes, striker Adam Idah scored the game-winning goal, giving his team a 1-0 win. This caused wild celebrations in the green and white end of the stadium.
This cup match wasn’t like the others. Celts weren’t playing their best. They showed they were tough, though, and proved they are the best team in Scotland. Their season has been ruined by the Rangers.
Fans will be able to party all summer long because the Bhoys won both the league and the cup. There were times during the campaign when that didn’t look like it would happen.
The boss and his players, on the other hand, stuck to their plans, believed in themselves, and dealt with the criticism in the best way possible.

Rodgers told BBC Scotland after the game, “For the spectators, it was very tense.” There’s no need to be great at this game; all that matters is winning, which we did.
“As the game winds down, you do think about extra time.” But we found the strength and drive to keep going, and thank goodness we won.
“Both Bernardo and Idah have been invaluable this season.” All of the players have been unbelievably polite and smart.
I think it’s great that you won a double this season. It’s normal to expect to win awards, but you’ve shown today that you never get tired of it. It’s impossible to take away what the Scottish Cup means to this club and its fans.
“It was a really close game.” Rangers came in with a strong desire to win the trophy, so we knew the game would be tough. The key moments are what make the difference, and we scored the winning goal.
