Celtic will receive numerous congratulations in the coming days following their victory over Rangers in the League Cup final this afternoon.

Kasper Schmeichel and Daizen Maeda were Celtic’s heroes of the hour as they secured a dramatic Hampden penalty shootout victory over Rangers.

Maeda, the golden Bhoy, converted his penalty kick to secure the Hoops’ 119th trophy in their history, which will be on display in the Parkhead boardroom tonight, after Celtic goalkeeper Schmeichel saved a Rangers penalty.

Stan Collymore, a self-proclaimed Celtic devotee, has directed a message to the Parkhead team following their historic victory at Hampden.

Stan Collymore celebrates Celtic’s League Cup victory over Rangers with a “major” revelation. On X, Collymore expressed his congratulations to the players, personnel, and supporters of Celtic Football Club. A 119th major trophy.

Brendan Rodgers expressed his satisfaction with Celtic’s victory over Rangers, stating, “It was an exciting game for the neutral to witness.”

As previously mentioned, the goals at the conclusion were impressive; however, the players who converted the penalties were equally impressive. Kasper saves the day, and we ultimately prevailed.

Chris Sutton, a former Celtic striker, immediately expressed his satisfaction with the team’s victory: Sutton penned, “Celtic and Brendan Rodgers, you were absolutely relentless.” “Another moral victory for the Rangers, perhaps…,

” Finally, Philippe Clement, the manager of Rangers, expressed his peculiar perspective on Celtic’s victory in a bitter penalty tirade, stating, “There is also a penalty situation on Czerny.”

It is peculiar that the referee has not been requested to observe the monitor, as we are awarded a free kick at the perimeter of the box, but his foot is on the line, rendering it an unambiguous penalty. “At least it is a topic for the referee to discuss.”

I am confident that the repercussions from Hampden will continue to generate additional perspectives regarding Celtic’s victory throughout the remainder of the upcoming week.
