The hidden conversations Danny Rohl and Rangers fans had at airport after being followed by supporters after 3-0 defeat vs Brann revealed

Danny Rohl’s start as Rangers manager couldn’t have gone much worse on Thursday night.

The Ibrox side find themselves bottom of their Europa League group after a crushing 3–0 defeat to SK Brann in Norway, with goals from Emil Kornvig, Jacob Sorensen, and Noah Holm sealing the result. Captain James Tavernier described the team’s display as “disgraceful,” while Rohl felt obliged to cross the pitch after full-time to personally apologise to the travelling supporters.

Despite the heavy defeat, those fans responded by chanting Rohl’s name as he walked away—a show of support that didn’t end there. According to Rangers fan outlet Four Lads Had A Dream, the German coach later had another exchange with supporters at Bergen Airport, where he once again apologised and asked for patience. Rohl reportedly told fans he has already pinpointed the problems within the squad and pleaded for “a chance to fix it.”

Rohl’s honesty has earned him some early respect among the fanbase, even as pundits like Chris Sutton mock his poor start. Still, the new manager faces a massive challenge: this is not a team of his own making, and he’s dealing with the consequences of years of poor recruitment and management decisions.

He’s now calling for time to implement changes—but time is the one thing he doesn’t have much of. With fixtures against Kilmarnock, Hibernian, Celtic, and Roma coming up before the international break, the pressure is already mounting.

Rohl needs results fast: a win over Kilmarnock to stop their domestic slump, a victory against Hibs to stay in touch near the top, and success against Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final to lift morale.

The question remains: how can Rohl fix so many deep-rooted issues in such a short span? With limited time on the training ground until mid-December, the new Rangers boss faces a monumental task to steady the ship and win over the Ibrox faithful.
