The main reason why Brendan Rodgers will start with Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn instead of James Forrest in the upcoming Celtic F.C vs Rangers match

With the Glasgow Derby coming up, all Celtic fans can talk about is who will start on the wings against Rangers.

The eleventh player will be chosen by itself. It looks like Brendan Rodgers can choose from a full Celtic team for the first time this season now that most of the injuries they had at the start of the season have been fixed.

It will choose its own goalkeeper, defense, and offense. Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, and Cameron Carter-Vickers all seem to be fully fit again after Hearts’ win over the weekend.

As long as Kyogo keeps getting goals, the only thing left to decide is who will play on the wings. Jim Duffy thinks he knows the answer too.

Rodgers “will” start Kuhn for Celtic vs. Rangers.
It’s thought by Duffy that Rodgers will start the German winger this weekend instead of James Forrest.

Kuhn, who Celtic signed for £3 million, has been better since getting over his health problems, but Forrest’s return has made it hard for Celtic’s boss to decide who to play this weekend against Rangers.

“If you ask me, I would play Forrest and Maeda,” Duffy said [Superscoreboard]. I’m not Celtic’s boss, though. I believe Brendan Rodgers will choose Kuhn and Maeda if you ask me.

“I would go with Forrest and Maeda as well.”

“I also think [Forrest] is a player who makes a difference when he’s on the field.” Some players are that way, while others aren’t.

“Some people have to play first.” What would happen if Maeda came on? I’m not sure, but I think Forrest would.

“James Forrest is a great player to bring on in the last 30 minutes if Celtic need a goal.”

Brendan Rodgers is in a tough spot this Saturday, but it will be a good problem to have because he has had such strong teams for past derbies.

It was the first game of the season, and the Celtic manager had to go to Ibrox without Cameron Carter-Vickers and Reo Hatate. However, the team still won.

Rodgers still didn’t have them for the 2-1 win at Parkhead because Stephen Welsh and David Turnbull started. In the last game at Ibrox, Celtic played to a 3-3 draw without their captain, Callum McGregor.

The Celtic first team now looks strong as the season comes to a close, so fans are looking forward to the game against Rangers because they know that all of their best players will be available.
