The main reason why the 39-year-old striker Cristiano Ronaldo Will Miss Al Nassr’s Opening Match in the AFC Champions League
Cristiano Ronaldo will not be able to play in Al Nassr’s first AFC Champions League game against Al Shorta because he has a virus.
The club said in a statement that Ronaldo got sick and was identified with an infection after being checked out by the team’s medical staff. Since this means he has to stay home and rest, he won’t go to Iraq for the game that was planned.
This is bad news for Al Nassr because they will not have their leader or a key player to start the season. They were hoping to get off to a good start in the continental competition.
Even though Ronaldo isn’t playing, the team is sure they can take the challenge. Ronaldo, who recently scored 902 goals in his career, hopes to get better quickly and get back to playing.
