The only way Manchester United can sign Moise Kean before release clause expires tomorrow

This summer, Manchester United may pursue a new striker by entering the transfer market.

Last season, the Red Devils failed to capitalize on their opportunities in the final third, netting only 44 goals in the Premier League.

Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund were disappointing, scoring a mere seven league goals between them.

According to Corriere dello Sport (page 22), United may require an upgrade for the upcoming season. Additionally, they should not be underestimated in their pursuit of Fiorentina striker Moise Kean.

The only way Manchester United can sign Moise Kean before release clause expires tomorrow

The Italy international has declined offers from Al-Qadsiah and Al-Hilal in the past few days and has expressed his preference to continue his career in Europe next season.

United has the option to make a late move to activate his £45 million release clause, which is set to expire on July 15. If not, Kean is amenable to extending his contract with La Viola in exchange for a salary increase.

It is unlikely that United will pursue a deal for Kean.
Last summer, the 25-year-old transferred from Juventus to La Viola. He scored 25 goals in 44 appearances during his debut campaign. Only one of those was scored from the penalty spot.

United may not pursue a deal for the Italian, despite his career thus far. Kean previously had a forgettable period at Everton, netting four goals in 39 matches.

His return to Juventus was also unconvincing, as he scored 14 goals in 102 appearances. It would be a risky move to acquire him based on one season, despite the fact that his fortunes have changed at Fiorentina.

Kean’s aerial and muscular abilities have improved in comparison to his earlier career, but he continues to miss significant opportunities. During his most recent tenure, he executed this action on an astonishing 34 occasions.

Additionally, he is not particularly adept at controlling the ball when it is at his feet. Ruben Amorim, the manager, favors attackers who are mobile and capable of coordinating plays in addition to scoring goals.

It is improbable that United will activate Kean’s buy-out clause prior to the deadline tomorrow.
