The Referee to officiate the Newcastle United against Wolves Premier League match has been revealed

Newcastle United vs. Wolves: This weekend, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Vitor Pereira’s Wolves will play in the Premier League.
Newcastle United will keep looking for their first win of the season this coming weekend, when the Premier League starts up again after the international break. Eddie Howe’s team finished August with a scoreless draw at Leeds United. They will be eager to get their first three points of the season when they play Wolves at home.

Their opponents, on the other hand, have lost three games in a row to start the season and are now stuck at the bottom of the table. In spite of late interest from the Magpies in star striker Jorgen Strand Larsen during the summer transfer window, Vitor Pereira’s team will go to Tyneside with the striker.

Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa could make their debuts this weekend, and Newcastle United will want to get their season off to a great start without the noise of the transfer window. They will be desperate for a win this weekend to get ready for a highly anticipated match against Barcelona five days later. The football season is back, and St. James’ Park is getting ready for a busy few weeks. Howe’s team has five of their next seven games in all categories at home.

No, Newcastle United has only won two of the last eight Premier League games Kavanagh has been the judge for. That streak goes back two and a half seasons. Last season, the Lancashire whistler was in charge of three of their games, including wins over Manchester United in April and Wolves almost a year ago, which is the only other time they have won all three points in a Kavanagh-officiated game since April 2023.

During the 2023–24 season, Newcastle United had a terrible record when Kavanagh was the judge. They lost all four games he was in charge of. For example, they lost 3-1 and 3-2 to Nottingham Forest and Manchester City at St. James’ Park. They also lost 4-1 to Tottenham Hotspur on the road and 2-0 to Bournemouth in November 2023, both of which were very upsetting.

Before that, Kavanagh was the judge when they lost to Arsenal at the end of the 2022–23 season. At the start of the game, he gave Howe’s team a penalty. However, VAR told Kavanagh to look over his decision again, and he did so after video showed that the ball had not hit an arm in the box, even though the Gunners were initially given a penalty for handball.
