As they get ready to play what could be their last game together in the league, Kylian Mbappe paid honor to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has always been an inspiration to Mbappe. He grew up in Paris with pictures of him all over his room, and he says that is a big reason why he has always wanted to play for Real Madrid.

He will finally make his long-awaited move from Paris Saint-Germain to the Bernabeu Stadium this year. This move supports the idea that Europe’s best players from two generations are passing the torch.

First, though, he has to beat his hero as leader of France as they try to win another EU title.

French player Mbappe said, “There will never be another Cristiano Ronaldo.” “He changed the game of football, inspired lots of people, scored goals, and won cups.” He has learned how to start over. He’s not like anyone else.

I’m going my own way. It’s coming true for me to play for Real Madrid. But I’m not writing the next part of his story. I want to leave my mark on sports and be unique at Real Madrid.

“I respect him very much.” All I can do is praise him. I’ve been lucky enough to run into him, meet him, and get to know him over time. We’re still in touch. He knows what’s going on in my life and gives me advice.

It’s always an honor to play against him. He will be a sports legend no matter what happens after. We fully expect him to be less than pleased, and we look forward to making it to the semifinals.

The last time these two teams played, in 2021, they tied 2-2 in the group stage of the Euros. Ronaldo scored two penalties in that game, making him the first player to score in five Euros.

He is now 39 years old and has been playing club football for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia for more than a year. He seems determined to break that record and score in his sixth game.

He has started all four of Portugal’s games, but he isn’t scoring goals. On Monday, Jan Oblak stopped a penalty in the first half of extra time against Slovenia, and he lost his cool before he calmed down to score in a penalty shootout.

But Ronaldo will always be a danger.

The manager of France, Didier Deschamps, said, “He has the ability and the motivation to win.” “He can step up and score goals.” He is still a very good player, even though he is a little older.

Ronaldo’s record of 130 goals in 211 international games looks like it will stand the test of time, but Mbappe, who is only 25, has scored 48 goals for France.

That’s twice as many as Ronaldo had for Portugal when he was the same age, but Mbappe is also having a rough time in Germany. He broke his nose in the first game against Austria and doesn’t like wearing the mask.

Mbappe has only scored one goal so far, which was a penalty against Poland in the group stage.

When asked to name the most dangerous player against Portugal, Mbappe said, “It’s risky to say one player is more dangerous than the others.”

“The easy answer is Cristiano Ronaldo, but that leaves out great players from other places, like Rafael Leao and Bruno Fernandes, as well as my PSG teammates.” When you miss out on great players, you always pay a high price.

It’s clear to Bernardo Silva that the first time he saw Mbappe was at Monaco. “Me and Joao Moutinho asked each other, ‘Who is this kid?’ after his first week of training with us. He was only 16 years old.” He was different from everyone else.

“He scored a lot of goals in my last season with Monaco. He really shone in the Champions League, and I was happy to see his career grow.”

“It’s a great job, and I wish him the best, but not for this game.”

“It’s not Cristiano vs. Kylian; it’s Portugal vs. France, and I want Portugal to make it to the semifinals.”

“Both of them are amazing players, but they are at different points in their careers.” Cristiano is one of the best football players ever. Kylian is still in the early and middle stages of his work.
