Thomas Tuchel to be the next Manchester United manager as the pundit Rio Ferdinand shares secret details

If Ineos decide to fire Erik ten Hag at the end of the season, Thomas Tuchel is the favorite to be the next manager of Manchester United.

Although Manchester United hasn’t been as successful in their own country as Bayern Munich over the past 11 years, the two teams do share one thing: they are the talk of football in England and Germany, respectively.

Even though United hasn’t even been in the running for the Premier League title since 2013, they are still the subject of many phone-ins, column inches, and talk shows. There isn’t another English club that gets as much attention, and United rules the media scene. This is partly because so many famous Old Trafford greats now work as commentators or pundits.

Bayern had won every Bundesliga title since 2013 until this season. But even though they are the favorites, there is constant noise around the club. There are many famous people inside Bayern and many more who comment on the club from the outside. This makes it a tough place to work, as Thomas Tuchel found out when he got into a verbal fight with Uli Hoeness, the club’s honorary president, to end his time there.

Last week, Erik ten Hag was criticized in Manchester. After the 1-1 draw with Burnley, he hit back at critics by reminding some former players that the team went through a rebuilding phase when Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge. Tuchel could still get back at his own shooters by leading Bayern to the Champions League final, and Ten Hag will be hoping that the FA Cup final will give him a break.

In September, Bayern’s European season began at the Allianz Arena against United with an exciting 4-3 win. Ten Hag’s team would come to know this result this season. The day before that game, on the other hand, seems especially clear to me now.

Everyone who has been to a Tuchel press conference knows what a great speaker he can be. he is much more at ease in that setting than Ten Hag was, and at a time when Ten Hag was starting to feel some pressure, it was his counterpart who spoke so beautifully about how hard it is to run a massive club like United.

“I felt with Manchester United there was always a lot of noise, a lot of pundits are ex-players from Manchester United, you have this legacy from Sir Alex Ferguson which creates a lot of pressure, a lot of expectation around Manchester United,” Tuchel said.

“It lets people know you work at a big club with big goals and big success.” Everybody here at Bayern and everyone I work with at Manchester United wants the same things. Not sure if it’s an advantage for us; little things often get bigger here than in other clubs, or people talk about them a lot. I think that inside, they teach in a way that helps players improve and reach their full potential. To set rules and a winning mindset, that’s what we’re trying to do.

“It’s clear if I watch Manchester United play.” Even though the results don’t always match up, the team is very good and the club has a winning mentality.

Almost likely, Ten Hag would agree with that, and Tuchel’s answer shows that he knows exactly how to run United. He had the same thing happen to him in Munich, and he has also managed Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, so his resume includes a lot of high-profile teams with a lot of noise.

Any worries at United would be about how easily angered the German is. He has had a lot of problems with upper management at those clubs, and Ineos wants to build a football system where everyone works together, so Tuchel would be a big risk.

During his time at Borussia Dortmund, PSG, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich, he never played more than 127 games for any one club (PSG). He will be leaving Bayern after just 15 months and a little more than 60 games as manager. That doesn’t sound like a long-term plan, and if things go badly, he could easily lose the respect of top United officials and the commentators he blamed for making noise at the club.

There were other possibilities, but Tuchel has the best resume and the most experience running a club this size if Ineos decide to hire a new manager this summer. In September, he proved it.

While meeting with Thomas Tuchel before the Champions League semi-final, Rio Ferdinand joked that he asked the Bayern Munich manager about joining Manchester United. He also backed the former Chelsea manager to get some “big offers” in the summer.

Ferdinand is one of the commentators on TNT Sports who will be covering the second game of the final four match between Real Madrid and Bayern. After the first leg, the score stayed tied at 2-2. The winner will play Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley Stadium.

Earlier in the day, Ferdinand was seen meeting Tuchel as he went for his pre-game walk. Someone saw the former defender say something in Tuchel’s ear. Tuchel replied, and the two of them laughed together.

People asked Ferdinand what Tuchel said, and Ferdinand said, “I just told him good luck. He’s so calm, you’d never know it’s a semi-final and one of his last chances to win a trophy.”

Steve McManaman, another show host, then asked, “And what about the Manchester United job?” “That was the end of the talk,” Ferdinand answered. “Where are you going?”

Afterward, Ferdinand said, “I think he still has enough in the tank.” He will still get some great deals today, no matter what. As for him, I think the world is his oyster again if he makes it to the final and wins the prize right behind you. Nothing is stopping him from saying and doing what he wants.

There has been a lot of talk about Erik ten Hag’s future and who might replace him at Old Trafford if he leaves in the summer, which led to the conversation between Tuchel and Ferdinand. According to the most recent news, United is in touch with Tuchel, who is leaving Bayern at the end of the season.

Tuchel wouldn’t say anything about a possible return to the Premier League before the game against Real Madrid, but he did say that he loved his time in England. It’s no secret that I loved it at Chelsea and in England, so I’d rather not say.

“I loved it in the Premier League for sure. It was a magnificent time that I vividly recall.”

There have also been rumors that United wants to sign England boss Gareth Southgate. Reports say that Tuchel is the best candidate to take Ten Hag’s place.
