Three (3) key Celtic Fc player pass on their on verdict as 22-years-old forward Liel Abada to quit Celtic for Charlotte FC
According to reports, Liel Abada has become the most recent member of Celtic’s spectacular trophy-winning side to depart from the club and move on to other opportunities.
Jota, Josip Juranovic, Carl Starfelt, Aaron Mooy, and Giorgos Giakoumakis are among the players that have left the Bhoys during the course of the past 18 months. Each of these players was instrumental in the delivery of significant trophy during the time that Ange Postecoglou was in charge of the team.
As a result of personal issues in Glasgow, Abada completed a move to Charlotte FC, which was said to be for £10 million, on Thursday evening, becoming the most recent player to leave the club.
Brendan Rodgers has already expressed his regret over his departure, even going so far as to suggest that Celtic are not taking advantage of the Israeli international’s full ability.
Popular Celtic players have shown their support for Liel Abada.
As far as his teammates are concerned, they will also miss him, if the responses to his farewell post on Instagram are any indication.
The winger received well wishes from a number of individuals, including Joe Hart, Alistair Johnston, Mikey Johnston, and Stephen Welsh, in addition to Giakoumakis and Juranovic, who were mentioned earlier.
At the same time that Johnston made it quite apparent that he will be keeping track of Abada’s success in the United States, Hart declared that he will “always support” the 22-year-old.
While speaking at a media conference held in Lennoxtown this afternoon, Celtic defender Liam Scales also had some complimentary things to say about his old teammate.
The international player for the Republic of Ireland stated, “During his time with the club, Liesel scored a significant number of goals.” When we think of him, we will remember him for that. In addition to being a top player who scored significant goals and being a member of a team that won the treble, he has left a positive legacy for himself in this place.
It is our hope that he will be successful in his upcoming endeavor.
It is likely that Celtic will miss Abada’s direct threat to score goals.
Despite the fact that Abada has played so little this season, either because of an injury or because of those personal concerns, Celtic will undoubtedly grieve the loss of his capacity to score goals.
Abada is a great offensive asset when he is completely fit and determined. He arrives with well-timed runs into the box to punish rival defenses, especially in Scotland against Rangers, which is the most renowned example of this.
He possesses the qualities necessary to be successful in Major League Soccer, and I have no doubt that a great many of Celtics supporters will be keeping a close eye on his career trajectory from this point forward.
