“To be honest” – Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes delivers a strong transfer plan message on his departure from Newcastle this summer! YES OR NO? Answer was revealed
The defender for Newcastle United, Bruno Guimaraes, has said that he would be happy to stay at St. James’ Park. However, he knows that Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules could affect his future.
Newcastle is one of six Premier League clubs that will have to sell players this summer in order to follow FFP rules, Sky Sports News claimed on Thursday. Some people think that Guimaraes is a star who could be sold if this is true.
The 26-year-old has been linked with Manchester City, Arsenal, and many other clubs in Europe after Eddie Howe’s team had a great season. When Brazilian reporters asked Guimaraes about his plans for the summer, he sent a clear message to the club’s leaders about what he wants to do.
“I’m not in any hurry, I’m happy, and it’s up to God, let’s see what happens.” If Newcastle moved the Brazilian, it would be a huge loss because he has scored seven goals and set up ten others in 50 games this season.
“Look, my future, to be honest, is in God’s hands,” he stated. “As I said, I’m very happy with my job at Newcastle and I know how much they like me and what I’ve done for the club.”
In short, I’m happy because I have a job offer. We know everything about Financial Fair Play, so I don’t know what will happen. But I did say I was happy.
“Obviously, having your name linked to big clubs is nice; it means I’m doing a good job. But I’m not worried about it at all; I already said I’m happy at the club.” Whatever happens, I’m happy.
