Tottenham has appointed Thomas Frank as their new manager, and four other appointments have been confirmed. Tottenham has officially announced the appointment of Thomas Frank from Brentford.
A contract until the summer of 2028 has been granted to the 51-year-old Dane, who succeeds Ange Postecoglou, who was terminated despite winning the Europa League final last month.
Frank was in command of Brentford for seven years, and he successfully led the Bees to the Premier League in 2021. He has since transformed the club into a top-tier team, achieving finishes of 13th, ninth, 16th, and 10th, respectively. Spurs stated in a statement that Frank had a “proven track record” from his previous positions.
The statement stated that Thomas has accumulated a wealth of experience in English football, having joined Brentford in 2016. He has since become one of the longest-serving managers in the Premier League. “He successfully elevated Brentford from the Championship to the Premier League during his tenure, surpassing expectations on a consistent basis for an extended period.”
“We are appointing one of the most innovative and progressive head coaches in the game in Thomas.” He has a demonstrated history of success in the development of players and squads, and we eagerly anticipate his leadership as we prepare for the forthcoming season.
In addition, they verified four additional appointments, including three individuals who arrived from Brentford after Frank. Justin Cochrane, who was initially considered a potential replacement for the former Brondby player at the Gtech Community Stadium, will once again serve as his assistant.
