Two Celtic players Luis Palma and Paulo Bernardo reacts and sends out a message to the 21-year-old defender Alex Valle securing a permanent transfer move to Como after Celtic January exit

Celtic employed Alex Valle for a brief period.

The 21-year-old was initially scheduled to remain at Celtic for the entirety of the 2024/25 campaign; however, circumstances shifted abruptly during the January transfer window.

Valle’s departure was unexpected, even to Brendan Rodgers’ surprise, while there was speculation that Kieran Tierney would return to the club. This did not occur during the winter, but it is anticipated to occur in the summer.

The La Liga champions promptly loaned out the emerging Spanish sensation upon his return to Barcelona.

Valle was subsequently transferred to Como 1907, a team that is under the management of Cesc Fabregas. The Celtic Park devotees were not surprised to learn that Valle thrived and performed exceptionally well.

Alex Valle has completed a permanent transition to Como following his departure from Celtic in January.
Luis Palma and Paulo Bernardo participated in an exercise with Valle prior to his departure, with the former departing on a loan to Olympiacos in January.

However, upon the confirmation of Valle’s transfer to Como, his former comrades expressed their opinions in the comments section of his Instagram post.

Palma wrote, “Congratulations, little brother.” It is exceedingly well-deserved.
‘Let’s go, Brother,’ Bernardo added.

Celtic’s left-backs for the forthcoming season are yet to be determined.
Tierney is confirmed for the forthcoming season; the only remaining question is who will accompany the Scotland international on the left flank.

Greg Taylor’s retention by Celtic and Brendan Rodgers would be straightforward; however, it appears that he is eroding his contract and will ultimately depart.

Jeffrey Schlupp’s contract at Crystal Palace expires at the end of June. Will Celtic re-sign him? It appears that they will not.

Consequently, Celtic must conduct additional purchasing during the summer transfer window.
