Rocco Vata, a Celtic prospect, scored five goals tonight for the Republic of Ireland U21s against San Marino, showing that he is a more dangerous striker.

Vata was picked to start for his country’s U21 Euros qualifying game tonight, which was only the second time he had played at that age level.

He scored two goals on his U21 start against the same team in September, and now he has scored three goals in the second half this evening.

The first one was close and came after a mistake in the San Marino defense. The second one was a beautiful long-range shot.

The Celtic young player got the ball in the middle circle and sped forward, coolly tricking an opponent before launching a powerful low shot into the far bottom corner. You can watch a clip of the work by pressing X or the link below.

It was 7-0 for Italy, and Vata scored his third goal in the 90th minute.

Celtic star Rocco Vata will do well in Ireland in the future.

Vata can play for Ireland, Scotland, and Albania, but he has been a part of the Irish school team for a long time and looks set to become a full international for Ireland.

He’s about to make progress at Celtic and will be 19 next month. He trains with Brendan Rodgers’ first team at Lennoxtown on a daily basis and seems to have moved on from the B team.

His current deal is up at the end of the season, but Rodgers revealed that the club has been in talks with him about a new one.

The young player scored his first senior goal for the Bhoys in January. He is now a regular member of Rodgers’ matchday squads, but he hasn’t been used as a substitute since February.

Not long ago, the Celtic boss praised his growth and named him and Daniel Kelly as two players to keep an eye on in the future.
