Watch Goal Video: Newcastle 1-0 Manchester United – Anthony Gordon scores a sensational goal
This weekend, Manchester United will travel to Newcastle in the Premier League to compete in a game that will be their third consecutive departure from home.
United will travel to St. James’ Park for the Saturday night kickoff slot, and they will need to find a way to respond to the disappointment they felt after their Champions League match against Galatasaray ended in a 3-3 tie throughout the week.
United’s chances of advancing from the Champions League group stage have been shattered as a result of the defeat in Istanbul; however, the players need to refocus their attention on the Newcastle team, which was unlucky not to win against Paris Saint-Germain.
With regard to the team news, Marcus Rashford is given the opportunity to start after being suspended and missing the match against Galatasaray. Mason Mount, on the other hand, did not travel with the group to Newcastle and therefore does not participate. Anthony Martial takes over for Rasmus Hojlund in the forward position, while Kobbie Mainoo starts in the middle of the field.
As a result of their own injury crisis, Newcastle is currently without a number of players that are considered to be part of their first team.
