Cole Palmer is once again the talk of the Premier League after another amazing game.

Yesterday night (Monday, April 15), the young Englishman scored four goals as Chelsea beat Everton 6-0. Palmer has scored 20 goals and set up nine others since leaving Manchester City last summer. It’s been an amazing first season for the young English star.

Palmer is also the first player in the history of the Premier League to score in seven straight home games for Chelsea. He scored against Sheffield United, Fulham, Wolves, Newcastle, Burnley, Manchester United, and now Everton. Palmer is now tied with Erling Haaland for the Premier League Golden Boot, which is something that not even the best experts probably saw coming.

How does the Golden Boot race look so far? Palmer is tied for first place with the Manchester City star, and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa is next on the list with 19. After the top three, Alexander Isak of Newcastle, Mo Salah of Liverpool, and Dominic Solanke of Bournemouth are all tied for second place with 17 goals each.

Palmer joined Chelsea for £40 million in September 2023 and has since played 27 times for the Blues and scored or set up 29 goals. He has also been called up to play for England against Malta and North Macedonia in Euro 2024 qualifying. A lot of people also wanted him to be on Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 team because of how well he was playing.

There’s always a boot that goes with a goal, because players choose boots that they think will help them play that little bit better. If you want to know what Palmer puts on his feet, you don’t have to look any further. Those who know football know that the Chelsea youngster wears the famous Nike Mercurial Vapor. If you’ve heard of that boot before, it’s because Ronaldo, a famous Brazilian player, first wore it in 1998.

Players like Luis Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and now Kylian Mbappe have worn these Nike boots and changes on them over the years. This means Palmer is in good company when it comes to the boots he likes. However, getting the boots that players wear can be pricey. However, you can look the part for a lot less money by buying boots that look just like Palmer’s.

Palmer’s lemonade-colored boots may be the talk of the town as he consistently hits the net, but he’s not the only big name in the Premier League whose shoes make news and make people wonder what they’re made of. Erling Haaland has his own line of shoes called the Nike Phantom GX 2 Elite “Erling Haaland Force 9.” Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool’s white Adidas Predator shoes sold out very quickly this morning (Tuesday, April 16), but there are rumors that they will be back in stock later.
