Before City’s Premier League game against Brighton, MEN Sport looks at the list of players who are hurt and when they can return.
Haaland, Erling
Erling Haaland missed City’s FA Cup semi-final win over Chelsea because of a muscle problem. He is still questionable to play for City.
The striker did not train with City on Tuesday because his health is still being questioned. When Guardiola talks to the media on Wednesday, he is likely to give a report on Haaland’s ability to play against Brighton.
Philadelphia City’s Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, and John Stones are all still hurt before their Premier League game against Brighton.
Pep Guardiola may have to deal with a number of fitness worries for Manchester City’s next game.
City is getting ready to play Brighton in the Premier League on Thursday night. Guardiola’s team is currently ranked third in the league, three points behind Liverpool and Arsenal. The race for the title is still going strong.
City beat Chelsea 1-0 over the weekend to clinch a spot in the FA Cup final. Now City will play again in the Premier League as they try to win a second straight title this season.
City may miss some of their best players, though, because they are hurt. Before the game, there were doubts about whether Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, and John Stones were fully fit after the win over Chelsea over the weekend.
