WILLIAM SALIBA IDENTIFIES THE ARSENAL PLAYER WITH WHOM HE HAS NOT BEEN HAPPY THIS SEASON
WILLIAM SALIBA IDENTIFIES THE ARSENAL PLAYER WITH WHOM HE HAS NOT BEEN HAPPY THIS SEASON William Saliba addressed the media prior to Arsenal’s Champions League match against PSV tomorrow evening.
The Frenchman engaged in a conversation regarding his future at Arsenal, the ongoing campaign, and his own performances this season. With a 7-1 advantage over the Dutch team, the Arsenal will enter the match at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal’s exceptional performance in the Netherlands last week has virtually guaranteed their participation in the competition’s quarterfinals.
Arsenal has not met their usual level of performance during this campaign. Liverpool is currently 15 points ahead of Mikel Arteta’s team, rendering their title pursuit all but nonexistent with two months remaining in the season. William Saliba says, “I am exceedingly pleased to be in this location.” I have also been present for two and a half years.
There is no need for concern. I am content with my current location and am eager to remain there. “I am an avid Arsenal supporter.” It is akin to a dream for me to play here and score goals. Every day, I derive pleasure from each and every activity. That concludes the matter. The 23-year-old also acknowledged that his performances this season have not met his expectations. “I played two exceptional seasons with Arsenal, but I must demand more from myself because, as I previously stated,
I am not satisfied with my level this season.” However, this is advantageous because I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses. William Saliba is already considered one of the world’s finest center-backs, so it is unsurprising that he expects more from himself than what has been demonstrated this season.
