People have asked Callum Wilson about rumors that Aaron Ramsdale is willing to leave Arsenal and join Newcastle United in January. Wilson has replied.

Wilson was on The Footballer’s Football Podcast after hearing that Nick Pope will be out for a few months because of an injury he got against Manchester United over the weekend.

It looks like a lot will be written about Aaron Ramsdale in the coming months. He is no longer Arsenal’s number one player. He will really want to play a lot as England gets ready for Euro 2024.

This could be a chance to do something.

The Times said that Pope will not be able to play for at least four months after he hurt his shoulder. He was taken off late in the win over Erik ten Hag’s team.

Newcastle wants to sign Ramsdale, an Arsenal goalie who is worth £50 million, and he is open to a move. Also, David de Gea has been linked. He is still a free agent after leaving Old Trafford in the summer.

Wilson was asked about the ties between him, de Gea, and Ramsdale. He also said that he could see why someone would want to move to St. James’ Park.

“Yes, I think everyone wants to go to Newcastle right now. The reason he said that was “because it’s a club to be at really.”

“Our football is good, and we’re in the Champions League.” We’re going for it again this year. There are a lot of people who want to come and join us because we have quarterfinals and Sunderland in January.

It will be hard for Magpies to get Arsenal to sell.
What Newcastle needs to worry about is that Arsenal doesn’t have much of a reason to sell Ramsdale, especially in January. In the end, they want to win the title again this year. Mikel Arteta won’t want to let him go because David Raya could get hurt at any time.

Arsenal might only sell Ramsdale if they need money to make their own moves. There are some places where the Gunners look a little weak. A good deal for the 25-year-old could make them change their minds.

And if Ramsdale has the chance to go, he probably would be tempted to do so.
