Newcastle provides injury updates for Alexander Isak, Kieran Trippier, and Callum Wilson. Eddie Howe, Newcastle’s manager, has verified that

Alexander Isak will participate in the match against Brighton this weekend, and Callum Wilson is on the brink of a return. Isak has been sidelined for three games due to a fractured toe. However, he has resumed training and is expected to rejoin the Magpies team on Friday, provided that he passes his training without incident. Howe stated of the Sweden international, “Alex has trained exceptionally well. He appeared to be in good shape during his training session at the beginning of this week.” He will be a contender for the weekend. Wilson, a fellow striker, has not yet appeared this season due to back and hamstring issues. He is on the brink of a return, but it is unlikely that he will be taken into account this weekend.

It is crucial that we make the appropriate decision in order to ensure that we can keep him for an extended period of time upon his return. He further stated, “We are in constant communication, as I am with all the players at the training ground. I am hands-on with everyone, and Callum is no exception. It is wonderful to see him back on the training pitch; it has given all the players a boost to see him back with the group.” ‘As I previously stated, we must simply manage his reintroduction in a manner that is appropriate.’ Howe stated, “Kieran has developed a hamstring injury.” It is unlikely that the situation is particularly severe; however, it will necessitate his absence for a few weeks. The manager has stated that midfielder Lewis Miley is on the brink of a return, stating that he has been training during the break. He has appeared in excellent condition; it appears that he has not been abroad. It has been a pleasure to observe. We will reintroduce him at the appropriate moment, and he will face some competition. He is returning to a positive environment. Howe also disclosed that England had not reached out to him in their pursuit of a new manager prior to the appointment of Thomas Tuchel, which was somewhat unexpected. The Seagulls will be the guests of the Magpies on Saturday at 3 p.m. For additional narratives of this nature, please consult our sports page.
