Newcastle United
“Agreement Reached” – Fabrizio Romano discloses a new transfer request from Newcastle United following the establishment of a five-year contract.
Recent reports suggest that Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly may be transitioning to the black and white colours of Serie A club Juventus.
Kelly commenced his tenure at Newcastle on a free transfer subsequent to his release from AFC Bournemouth last summer, having entered into a five-year contractual agreement.
However, following merely four Premier League appearances for The Magpies this season, the 26-year-old has been associated with a potential expedited transfer in January. The Turkish club Fenerbahçe experienced a rejection of their £11 million offer for the defender last week, subsequent to which Juventus expressed their interest in the player.
As reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle United has declined a loan proposal from Juventus that included an option to purchase Kelly.Romano reported that Juventus has expressed interest in acquiring Lloyd Kelly as a new centre-back; however, their verbal offer for a loan with an option to purchase has been declined by Newcastle.
Juventus continues to express interest following Newcastle United’s rejection of a €13 million proposal from Fenerbahçe earlier this week. Juventus is currently optimistic about progressing with a transfer fee in the vicinity of €15 million. “Agreement confirmed.””Indeed, Lloyd has not communicated with me regarding any desire to depart from the football club,” Howe stated.
“He has only recently become a member.” It is my belief that he comprehends the necessity of demonstrating his merit in order to secure a position on the team, thereby establishing that he is worthy of playing time in preference to his teammates.
“He has posed no difficulties whatsoever.” He has proven to be an excellent collaborator, as I anticipated he would be. He is patiently awaiting his opportunity; therefore, there are no concerns regarding Lloyd whatsoever.
“Lloyd plays a significant role in our endeavours.” As I previously mentioned, he has recently become a member of our team. We are collaborating with him and finding the experience to be quite enjoyable.
He has a significant role to fulfil within our organisation. Paul Mitchell, the sporting director of Newcastle, along with his recruitment team, convened a significant meeting over the weekend to delineate the club’s transfer strategy for the future.
