“Far below the same level”… Pundit believes Manchester City has committed significant errors behind the scenes.Glenn Murray questioned the transfer activities of Manchester City during the preceding summer transfer window.

A multitude of players entered and exited the Etihad Stadium subsequent to the Manchester club’s Treble-winning campaign at the conclusion of the previous campaign.

In light of the fact that Pep Guardiola’s squad has gone four league games without a victory, one former Premier League player and commentator has provided his insights on the club’s summer business and its effect on the current campaign.Murray provided an analysis in a recent episode of Football Daily regarding the potential cause for City’s lapse in relinquishing points.

He stated, “I believe you must also consider the departures that Manchester City made during the summer.”

More man city [Ilkay] Gundogan, who was instrumental in all of their accomplishments. Joao Cancelo, [Riyad] Mahrez, [Cole] Palmer, and [Aymeric] Laporte. Although Cancelo was a supporting player last season, they still have four Premier League players of the highest caliber—five or four, Palmer included—who were up and coming.

“However, in my opinion, despite the fact that [Josko] Gvardiol, [Matheus] Nunes, [Jeremy] Doku, and [Mateo] Kovacic are all excellent football players in their own right, they do not rank with the ones they were released in lieu of.”

Considering the caliber and experience of the players the club released during the summer and the mere four that were acquired, including two individuals aged 21 who had not yet competed in England, it was inevitable that the team would encounter some sort of acclimatization challenges with regard to achieving cohesion on the field. The fact that City has been without Kevin De Bruyne since August due to injury and that Rodri has missed games due to suspensions further emphasizes the challenges the Citizens have faced this season.Murray’s observation regarding the substantial alterations to the squad is valid; however, we maintain that a definitive determination regarding this specific issue should not be rendered until the conclusion of the season, subsequent to the complete campaign of the new players.
