Newcastle United FAB issue a strong rebuke to the controversial season ticket decision, stating that they “unanimously reject” it. A robust response has been issued by Newcastle United’s
Fan Advisory Board in response to the announcement that season ticket prices will rise in the upcoming season. Newcastle United has declared that season ticket prices will rise by 5% for the third consecutive season. While other Premier League clubs, such as Brentford and Liverpool, have agreed to a price freeze for the 2025/26 season, thousands of
Newcastle supporters will be compelled to pay a premium for a season ticket in the upcoming season. The club’s decision to further increase season ticket prices has caused a significant uproar among the fan base, as a significant portion of current season ticket holders are also facing a significant increase as long-term price agreements come to an end.
The Newcastle United Supporters Trust (NUST) wrote an open letter to CEO Darren Eales in January, urging the club to emulate their competitors and contemplate suspending ticket prices. Nevertheless, the announcement made today appears to have rendered that plea ineffective.
