Celtic F.C. Women defender Caitlin Hayes break silence and blast Ranger Fc decision to ban over 700 Celtic fans at Ibrox on social media
Caitlin Hayes, a star player for Celtic FC Women, said she didn’t agree with Rangers’ move to ban over 700 Celtic fans at Ibrox after the 1-1 SWPL1 draw. On social media, she said bad things about the club and that she doesn’t miss the Rangers.
“Football without fans is nothing,” the Celtic defender said. Scots women’s football was let down today. The Emirates was packed with 60,160 people over the weekend, and the growth of the game was praised. But 401 miles away, the same could not be said.
“You can’t advertise a game based on the chance to see some players on stage, with the false goal of growing the game, when the other team doesn’t have the same chance.” You are taking away the chance for young girls, in particular, to see what they can become if they have that dream.

“That dream is for everyone, no matter what color you wear, just like the foundations on which women’s football was built.”
“Don’t host if you can’t accommodate, plan, and pay for it, no matter what the situation is.” That which is hurt is the game’s name. One that we are ALL working to build together.”
