Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne is a key player.

This Belgian player has been an important part of City’s recent trophy run. He has played in 382 games for Pep Guardiola’s team, hitting 102 goals and setting up 170 others.

A move to Saudi Arabia has been talked about lately since the 33-year-old is about to start the last year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium.

At the beginning of the month, journalist Rudy Galetti said on his X account that the midfielder had orally agreed to join Al Ittihad.

But now, some information from behind the scenes has come out about how De Bruyne feels about what could happen next in his career this summer.

Kevin De Bruyne’s thoughts on whether to stay at Manchester City or move to Saudi Arabia

This is what a recent story from Give Me Sport said about the matter.

It said, “Kevin De Bruyne has also been made aware of a tempting offer that could take him to the Middle East. However, he would rather stay with Manchester City and try to win their fifth straight Premier League title than leave.”

“The Belgium international has said that a lucrative contract in Saudi Arabia is tempting, but he is leaning toward staying at the Etihad Stadium because he wants to get over the disappointment of his country being knocked out of Euro 2024 in the round of 16.”

It would be good if De Bruyne stayed at City.
Danny Murphy once called De Bruyne “the Roger Federer of football,” and even though he missed a lot of the previous Premier League season because of injury, he still managed to set up 10 goals in 18 games.

He actually had the most moves that led to shots (7.36 per 90 minutes) and goals (1.18 per 90 minutes) in the division at the end of the season.

This shows what a creative difference he can make to the team and why it would be great for them if he stayed at the club this summer.
