A LAS PALMAS STAR SAYS THAT A BARCELONA PLAYER “CHANGED THE GAME” AND THAT HE “SURPRISED US”
LAS PALMAS STAR ADMITS THAT ONE BARCELONA PLAYER “CHANGED THE GAME” AND “SURPRISED US” Alex Suárez, the star of Las Palmas, has identified a Barcelona player as the apparent difference-maker in the upcoming match.
Barcelona, of course, has recently acquired an additional three points at the expense of Las Palmas. The Blaugrana ultimately emerged victorious in a 2-0 victory after travelling to Gran Canaria for a La Liga match.
The visitors’ success on the evening was largely due to the contributions of their substitutes. Ferran Torres supplemented Dani Olmo’s opening goal just beyond the hour mark in the final moments of the game. The former is the individual whom the aforementioned Alex Suárez believes was the most culpable for his team’s eventual defeat.
After the full-time siren, defender Suárez acknowledged to the media that Olmo’s capacity to breach the lines had completely undermined Las Palmas’ game plan. “Olmo entered the game and altered the dynamics.” Our system was compromised by him. He presented us with an unexpected surprise.
