Atletico Madrid is considering a transfer for a 21-year-old Segunda standout.In the summer transfer window, Atletico Madrid was extremely active, and while they are unlikely to be as active in the market in 2025, they will still be considering a number of signings.
Segundo be the source of one of those. Atleti is among the clubs that are most interested in signing Carlos Alvarez, who has been a standout performer for Levante thus far this season, as reported by Grada3 (via MD).
From 13 appearances in Segunda, the 21-year-old right winger has collected three goals and four assists.. Alvarez was a product of Sevilla’s junior academy prior to his relocation to the Valencian region in 2023.
Since that time, he has made consistent progress, and it is possible that he will return to La Liga in 2025. Alvarez would be an appealing acquisition for Atletico Madrid, as he would not be prohibitively expensive.
In the next nine months, it remains to be determined whether their interest will evolve into a formal approach.
