Newcastle United’s star player has been sidelined for 11 games, including matches against Aston Villa and Manchester United, due to an injury sustained at the training facility.

Following a fractured collar bone injury sustained last month, Newcastle United will continue to be without defender Emil Krafth for an unknown number of weeks.

Krafth has been absent from Newcastle’s last eight matches due to an injury sustained on the training ground. He will be unavailable until early 2025. He is expected to be absent from the forthcoming matches against Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Newcastle’s head coach, Eddie Howe, has suggested that the Swede may return for the Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal on the week of January 6.Sven Botman is also on the brink of a return to the first squad, having played 60 minutes for the Under-21s last week.

“We do have players returning from injury, such as Sven, who will make a significant impact, and we are hopeful that Emil Krafth will return in the near future,” Howe acknowledged. “Certainly, the prospect of losing players is not on my mind.”

When asked whether Krafth would be able to return in time for the Carabao Cup semi-final match, Howe replied, “I believe he could.”

I believe that he is making progress, although he is still a few weeks away. He may be accessible by the time that time arrives.

Bukayo Saka sustained a muscle injury during the initial phases of Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday, which has resulted in a significant injury uncertainty for their forthcoming matches. The winger was observed exiting Selhurst Park while using aids.

Kraft Botman are nearing their return; however, Jamaal Lascelles is still out due to an ACL injury, Nick Pope is expected to be sidelined for approximately one month due to a knee issue, and Callum Wilson is expected to be sidelined until February due to a hamstring issue.
