BREAKING: 22-year-old transfer target for Newcastle United F.C was promptly announced, as Bundesliga giants expressed their dissatisfaction with the £50.8m deal move
Newcastle United expressed interest in acquiring Michael Olise; however, the gifted forward had his sights set on a transfer to Bayern Munich following the Bundesliga giants’ agreement to ink a £50.8m deal with Crystal Palace.
Michael Olise ‘immediately communicated’ his desire to join Bayern Munich.
Max Eberl, Bayern’s director of sport, stated this after the erstwhile Newcastle United target completed his £50.8m transfer from Crystal Palace. Olise had been under Bayern’s radar for some time, and the club’s sporting director, Christoph Freund, was understandably “extremely pleased” that the forward “opted for us” in spite of the competition for his signature.
Despite the fact that Newcastle and Chelsea had also expressed interest in Olise, the 22-year-old engaged in “very positive” discussions with Bayern in an effort to establish himself at this level. The opportunity to participate in the Champions League for the first time for a contender such as Bayern was a significant incentive. In fact, Olise was informed, “You will win this next year,” after being shown a photograph of the last time Bayern won the trophy, following his medical. Olise responded with a straightforward statement: “That is the plan.”
After signing a five-year contract with Bayern, Olise has resolved to “win as much as possible.” Eberl has expressed confidence in the newcomer’s ability to make a significant impact on the Bundesliga’s top-tier team.
“Michael Olise is a player who has the potential to make a significant impact and has garnered significant attention due to his unique style of play,” he stated. “We are seeking new ideas, new energy, and new impetus in our team. This is the message that players such as Michael Olise are conveying.”
“He promptly indicated that he was genuinely interested in joining FC Bayern during the discussions.” We are eagerly anticipating his arrival. He will contribute to the improvement of our game.
