BREAKING: Federico Valverde, a defender for Real Madrid, has been mentioned by Pep Guardiola as a possible replacement for Rodri after he recently got hurt
When January comes around, it looks like Manchester City will need to add another playmaker.
Rodri’s temporary absence has taken away Pep Guardiola’s team’s most important player. A lot of midfielders have been linked with moves to the world winners so far. Federico Valverde, a midfielder for Real Madrid, is said to be the latest player Manchester City wants to sign. But I don’t think that move will ever happen, even though Valverde is a great player.
The news site CaughtOffside says that Mark Brus says Manchester City might try to sign Federico Valverde in January. Also, Brus says City could offer up to €70 million for the player from Real Madrid. Real Madrid would not want to sell one of their key players in January, according to Brus’ claim.
I don’t think Federico Valverde will move from Real Madrid to Manchester City because he is such a great player.
There is no question that Federico Valverde is a great player. He is one of Real Madrid’s most important players and plays for Uruguay. Many people praise players like Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, but they couldn’t do their best without Valverde’s work in the middle of the field.
Valverde works hard in the middle of the field and makes room for Real Madrid’s star players to shine. I think Valverde was Real Madrid’s most important player when they beat Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals last year. With his goal, the first leg ended in a tie at the Bernabeu. He played well in both matches last year. Last season and all through his time with Real Madrid, his skill was clear.
Because of this, I don’t think Real Madrid will sell Federico Valverde. Too important to how they play without him.
Without a doubt, Valverde would quickly make Manchester City’s midfield better. It makes sense that City would want to sign the Uruguayan player. Real Madrid probably won’t think about letting him go, though.
It sounds great to think that Federico Valverde could play for Manchester City. He would make Manchester City’s center more lively and good right away. However, it doesn’t look like a smart move at this point. It does look like it’s not going to be ever. To improve their midfield, I think Manchester City will need to rely on other players in January.
