Celtic 24-year-old forward Nicolas-Gerrit Kühn urge the club to sign the player scored 3 goals last season 2023/24 this summer

Nicolas Kuhn has identified a player that Celtic would be extremely pleased to secure this summer.

Brendan Rodgers acquired the German winger during the January transfer window in order to fortify Celtic’s title defense.

Kuhn registered three goals and three assists in 18 appearances for the club. His initial strike was scored in the 1-1 debut draw with Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

Kuhn, 24, acknowledged that he was “close” with the Portuguese midfielder during his tenure at the club when confronted with the question of his summer connections with Paulo Bernardo.

Kuhn would be content with Paulo Bernardo’s return to Celtic.

When queried about his former Celtic teammate and the possibility of his return to the club this summer, the German winger expressed his desire to see him back at Paradise.

Kuhn stated to Celtic TV, “I was also quite close with Paulo [Bernarndo], so I would be delighted if he returns.”

“In addition, he is an exceptional athlete.” I believe that he also had a special moment in the cup final, so it would be great to have him return.

In the latter half of the previous season, Bernardo was a highly influential player for Celtic. Andy Walker, a former Hoops striker, described the Portuguese as “terrific” after scoring a goal in the 2-1 victory over Rangers at Parkhead.

Given that Bernardo’s salary is reportedly a contentious issue and that both clubs have yet to reach a mutual agreement on a fee, it is possible that this matter will continue to simmer throughout the summer.

Last season, Bernardo demonstrated his ability to play for Celtic in both Europe and the domestic league at the young age of 22. It appears that if Celtic were to include him in their summer signings, it would not only satisfy Kuhn but also the Hoops supporters.
