Celtic players Matt O’Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi are both very important to Brendan Rodgers’ plan to make Parkhead successful.

The two players in question scored a total of 38 goals together last season, and O’Riley set up some important goals that helped the Bhoys win the local double [Transfermarkt].

Now that pre-season has started for the new season, there is hope that both guys can bring it home again for Celtic as they try to win everything.

Rodgers has to count on the performance of his star players during a long season. He tells them to step up and deliver when the chips are down.

In that way, Furuhashi and O’Riley have made quite an alliance, and O’Riley has now explained why their relationship has been so successful.

In an interview with The Celtic View, O’Riley explained why he and Furuhashi have been able to get so much done at Celtic. What he said was: “It’s great, both on and off the field. He’s so easy to play with because he moves so well.”

“I think he trusts that I’ll always try to play in the ball because I like to look ahead. We’ve had a great relationship from my first season here until now.”

“I’m not sure how many I’ve given, but I’m sure a lot of them have been for him.”

It looks like both players trust each other, which helps them get the results they want on the field. Any amount of success isn’t a coincidence, and O’Riley and Furuhashi are the only two people in Scotland who work better together.

And now the Bhoys are back at it. They will be working hard behind the scenes to try to build on their last great season.

We hope that the men in question can keep being so smart at Parkhead for a long time. If they can do that, more silverware will be on its way!
