Callum McGregor was hurt, and Mark Guidi told what he knows about it at

Rodgers is very upset that the Celtic leader is out at this point in the season because he has been so important to the team’s success over the last two years.

It’s been hard for the Hoops manager to find a good alternative for Reo Hatate all season, and it looks like it will be even harder for the Celtic manager to find one for McGregor.

Not long ago, fans said on social media that they thought McGregor would miss the rest of Celtic’s season.

That rumor started because of all the stress that McGregor’s absence caused, but Brendan Rodgers put an end to it when he said that the Celtic leader would be back after the international break.

But no one knows if McGregor will be ready for the March 31 game against Livingston. Will he even be able to play in the Glasgow Derby?

Journalist Mark Guidi told what he knows about what’s going on with the Celtic captain.

McGregor might not be able to play for Livingston.

The seasoned reporter seems to be trying to ease the thoughts of Celtic fans by denying the rumors that McGregor could be out for months, joining Rodgers in this.

He told The Go Radio Football Show, “I don’t know the exact date of my return to Celtic, but I think it will be sooner rather than later.”

“But there are certainly no long-term worries.” There’s no need to worry about things like being ready for the Scottish Cup semi-final and the Euros.

“I’m not sure if he’ll be back in time for Livingston at the end of the month.

“But there’s no reason to think he’ll be out for two, three, or four months.” “That’s not true at all.”

If McGregor is healthy enough, he should be able to play at Ibrox. It would be silly to go up against that team without the leader and Reo Hatate.

There is no way McGregor can play in the Livingston game. That artificial pitch is not a good place for a hurt player to make their return to the Celtic first team. Hopefully, by then, he will be fully healed and ready to start at Ibrox on April 7.
