Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded at the Globe Soccer Award in Dubai and the Portuguese star was happy to experience the occasion with his family.

WHAT HAPPENED? Ronaldo was awarded the Best Middle East Player award at the Globe Soccer Awards and was also given an honorary award to commemorate him becoming the highest official goalscorer of all time.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner made a number of remarks during the awards gala taking on the authenticity of the prize given to the best player in the world and also claiming that the Saudi Pro League was better than Ligue 1.

WHAT RONALDO POSTED Ronaldo made his way to the Globe Soccer Award ceremony with companion Georginia Rodriguez and his eldest son Crisitiano Jr.

The Portugal captain uploaded a photo on Instagram with the two and captioned the photo: “A special night with the family.”THE GOSSIP Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been in a relationship for more than eight years, and they have two children together.

Ronaldo has previously addressed Georginia as his “wife,” and he repeated the practice during his acceptance speech, despite the fact that the two are not legally married.

He stated, “I am extremely pleased to have received this trophy.” My wife [Georgina] and my firstborn son are present. She is my constant source of encouragement to continue playing.

I will be forty years old in one month, but I have not yet completed my tasks. I will persist in my pursuit of titles, championdom, increased goal scoring, and national team victories.
