One point separates Liverpool from second-place Manchester City and two points separate Arsenal from third.

According to Gary Neville, Jurgen Klopp could help Liverpool win the Premier League title at the end of the season.

Sunday’s win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley gave Liverpool their first big trophy of the season. They are the favorites to win the Europa League and will play Southampton on Wednesday night in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

But the Premier League title is the real prize. Premier League leaders Liverpool are currently one point ahead of Manchester City and two points ahead of Arsenal. By winning the championship, Klopp would definitely be able to say goodbye in style when he goes this summer.

Finally, Neville, a former fullback for Manchester United, believes that Klopp could make the difference in the title race. According to Neville’s Sky Sports podcast, “If Liverpool didn’t have Klopp as their manager, I would say that might be as good as it gets.” When it comes to his last few months, his energy and spirit, you know exactly what will happen. I still don’t think Liverpool will win the English Premier League. Of course, it’s possible for it to happen.

Following Liverpool’s loss to Arsenal at the beginning of the month, Neville earlier talked about his thoughts on the team’s chances of winning the title. He said, “I don’t think Arsenal’s celebrations at the end were actions of a team that thought it was going to win the title.” There was a sense of joy at the end, like the players didn’t want to be out of the title race.

“Arsenal is a better team than Liverpool, but Liverpool is a more brutal team, especially in the final third,” He said. Honestly, I thought Arsenal would win the league at the beginning of the season, but I think that could cost them in the end. But there are still so many signs that Arsenal doesn’t have that killer sense in the last few minutes of the game that I think it will hurt them at some point this season.

“I think they have a great system and a good way of playing, but that one important thing is missing.” Liverpool has so many dangerous players, like Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, and Luis Diaz. I believe that will actually become a problem in the end.

Midweek, Liverpool plays Southampton in the FA Cup. The next weekend, they play Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League. After beating Luton, City moves on to play Manchester United in the FA Cup quarterfinals on Sunday.
