Julian Alvarez is certain that his optimal performance at Atletico Madrid this season is imminent.
Julian Alvarez is certain that his optimal performance at Atletico Madrid this season is imminent. In recent weeks, the Argentina international has become increasingly prominent as he adjusts to life in the Spanish capital.
The 24-year-old’s ability to rapidly adjust to La Liga was a significant factor in Los Rojiblancos’ decision to spend £81m to bring him in from Manchester City. His level was questioned due to a rocky start; however, he has since turned a corner in October, scoring four goals in all competitions since the beginning of the month.
He has scored six goals in both domestic and European competitions, and if he continues at this pace, he could surpass or equal his total of 19 goals at City in 2023/24. Alvarez has been recognised as the player of the month by Atletico Madrid fans prior to the final game before the international break, which will take place at Mallorca on November 10. He is committed to enhancing his performance in the upcoming weeks.
“I am becoming increasingly confident in my ability to assist the team and feel better on a daily basis.” Mundo Deportivo reports that “I am in a good mood, always striving to improve, and contemplating the future in order to improve each day.”
