Major Reason Why Crystal Palace were denied a penalty against Liverpool amid VAR research
After a careful review, Crystal Palace did not get a penalty against Liverpool.
Virgil van Dijk got a yellow card at first for a foul in the box.

In Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool on Saturday at Selhurst Park, the penalty kick was called off after a check that went more than three minutes.
Reds defender Virgil van Dijk fouled Odsonne Edouard in the box. Referee Andy Madley blew his whistle right away to signal the foul and give a penalty.
The Liverpool defender made solid contact with Palace’s striker, as shown on replays. Van Dijk was given a yellow card, and a probe was started to see if Will Hughes had fouled Wataru Endo before the play.
John Brooks, a VAR judge, told Madley to look over the decision on a monitor next to the field. The check then played back the event several times at different speeds and angles.
The penalty call was reversed in the end because it was correctly decided that Hughes had fouled Endo when the Liverpool midfielder crashed into his back to get the ball back.
Since there was still no goal, Van Dijk’s yellow card was taken away, and the other team got a free kick instead.
Rio Ferdinand, who used to play defense for Manchester United, agreed with the final decision and said Hughes was too rough when he tried to get the ball back for his team.
This is what he told TNT Sports: “It took a while to get there, but in the end it was the right result.”
“Yes, a free kick is aggressive, and Roy Hodgson will want that. But Will Hughes’ aggression was too much.” After looking at it and thinking about it, the choice was good.
“They [Palace] had the best chance because Alisson made a great save, and they’ve had the best chances so far.” He said, “Palace will be happier right now, but Liverpool needs to be a little more potent up front to make chances.”
However, some Palace fans were not happy with the call that cost them a great chance to score first from 12 yards out.
One fan replied on Twitter, “So Van Dijk doesn’t get a blatant yellow card, Endo doesn’t get punished for grabbing the ball before the referee calls a foul, and we don’t get a penalty.” You can imagine how surprised I will be if Liverpool wins.
Full Reason Why Crystal Palace didn’t get a penalty against Liverpool because the VAR check took more than three minutes Will Hughes hit Wataru Endo to keep Virgil van Dijk from getting too red.
Someone else said, “Score for Palace.” VAR, on the other hand, thinks that the judge missed a foul earlier. So, there is no punishment. I think this is too hard on Palace.
A third Palace fan said, “It’s crazy that VAR is looking for a foul that led to a goal or penalty.” They thought the call was too harsh. Let the official on the field make the call.
Peter Crouch, on the other hand, thought Madley should have given Palace a penalty, but he thought VAR was trying to change Madley’s mind.
“I think VAR was telling him it was a foul because Madley didn’t think it was a foul at all.” I think the right choice was made in the end.
