Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt are actively engaged in negotiations regarding the acquisition of Omar Marmoush.
Frankfurt continues to insist on a transfer fee of €80 million, while the Premier League club has previously submitted a proposal of €60 million, which was subsequently declined.
It is anticipated that the two parties will reach an agreement on a transaction valued at €70 million, inclusive of additional incentives ranging from €5 million to €10 million.
For context, Frankfurt acquired Marmoush on a free transfer in 2023. The club is striving to conclude the agreement within the next two days, which suggests that it is improbable that Marmoush will be included in the squad for Frankfurt’s upcoming match against Borussia Dortmund on Friday.
The club has already reached an agreement regarding personal circumstances with the 25-year-old individual. Should Marmoush have participated in his final match for Frankfurt, he would have concluded it with distinction, contributing one goal and two assists as Frankfurt rallied from behind to secure a 4-1 victory against SC Freiburg at Deutsche Bank Park.
