MANCHESTER CITY CONFIRMS INNOVATIVE COLLABORATIONS WITH AVATAR CREATION PLATFORM READY PLAYER ME AND GAMING PLATFORM HIBERWORLDManchester
City is delighted to announce its partnership with Ready Player Me (RPM), an avatar creation platform, and HiberWorld, a gaming platform.
This collaboration will result in the debut of a unique collection of Manchester City-branded avatar skins.
Manchester City will become the first football club to launch skins on Ready Player Me’s Premium Skins Catalogue, which was first introduced in October of last year.
This implies that players will have the ability to utilize their Man City avatars in a variety of games and experiences within RPM’s network. Manchester City is collaborating with Hiber3D through its web gaming platform, HiberWorld, in addition to its partnership with RPM.
The goal is to launch Man City Summit Sprint, a mini-game in the “obby” manner that will be the first to offer the new Man City skins for purchase.
Four skins will be available for purchase, each featuring a variety of Manchester City-branded joggers, t-shirts, and hoodies. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to acquire a Man City avatar costume at no cost by successfully finishing the Summit Sprint mini-game.
The fastest completion times will be displayed on a digital leaderboard, enabling players to compete against their fellow Manchester City supporters.
Additionally, a competition will be held at the launch to provide supporters with the opportunity to win a signed Manchester City shirt by achieving the fastest completion time.
Players who obtain the fastest times in the Summit Sprint Obby by Friday, December 27th, will have the opportunity to win a Manchester City shirt that has been signed by the squad.
Kristoffer Lewis, Manchester City’s Head of Esports, Gaming, and Metaverse, addressed the collaboration:
“Manchester City has pioneered an exciting innovation by partnering with Ready Player Me, the first football club to provide branded skins on the platform’s Premium Skins Catalogue.”
“This partnership enables fans to embody City in a distinctive manner, bringing our identity to life across a vast network of games and virtual experiences, including the Hiberworld platform.” The collaboration was discussed by Kaspar
Tiri, Co-Founder and CCO of Ready Player Me: “The potential of interoperable digital assets is underscored by our partnership with Manchester City.”
We are enabling supporters to express their identity seamlessly across multiple games and experiences by incorporating Man City skins into our network, thereby unlocking new possibilities for virtual self-expression.
The game is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices through Hiberworld, which can be accessed HERE. Alternatively, you may execute the game by clicking on the link below.
