John Stones, a center back for Manchester City and England, has now given a report on his health after an unsettling picture of him was taken.

It was seen that Stones was training with a heavy strap around his right leg before England’s quarterfinal match against Switzerland at Euro 2024.

It looked like Gareth Southgate might lose two of his starting center backs for England’s biggest game of the tournament. Marc Guehi was already banned for the game.

The winner of the knockout game will play the winner between the Netherlands and Turkey. England looks like a safe bet to make it to the final.

While Manchester City’s number five might not be able to play because of the injury, Switzerland might be the favorite to win the match.

John Stones says if he is healthy enough to play for England against Switzerland.

It would have been bad to lose a leader like the 30-year-old, who has played great football for his club and for his country.

Fans of England can take a sigh of relief, though, because Stones has said that he is healthy enough to play against Switzerland.

He told Sky Sports News, “No, no, everything is fine.” The strapping looks worse than what I did, but it’s definitely a heavier strapping, so I know I did the right thing.

Stones is likely to be one of Southgate’s first choices when he makes his starting eleven to play Switzerland.

John Stones will be glad that’s the case.

Since the City back missed a lot of last season because of injuries, he would have been devastated if he couldn’t play in England’s next game.

Elite players like Stones love being on the big shows, whether they’re playing for their club or their country.

The former Everton center back would have also known that the Three Lions would be much less safe at the back without him.

In knockout football, defense mistakes of any size are often punished.

Especially by a Swiss team that has a lot of good players and some veterans who have played in a lot of games.

The six-time Premier League winner has the chance to make it to another semi-final with his national team on Saturday, which must thrill him. He is healthy and ready to go, and Stones will be keen to play a big part in helping England make it to the semi-finals and take another step toward winning the European Championship.
