Newcastle United F.C. winger Joelinton send a heartfelt message to Eddie Howe after being among top candidates to replace Gareth Southgate as England head coach

Joelinton has spoken out about the rumors that Eddie Howe could be the next manager of England.

People inside the FA think that Howe is one of their top choices to replace Gareth Southgate, who quit his job earlier this month. In his first two full seasons at the club, Howe helped the Magpies go from fighting relegation to challenging for European spots. He is now seen as one of the top candidates for the job, along with Graham Potter and Lee Carsley, who is the manager of England’s Under-21 team.

The former Bournemouth player is about to start his fourth season as head coach of Newcastle United. Joelinton has said that he wants Howe to stay at St. James’ Park “for as long as possible.” The Brazilian told the Guardian, “He’s done a lot for me since the beginning.”

“What a great coach and person he is.” I love him. He’s someone I admire a lot. He changed my job for sure, and I will always be grateful to him. We want him here and love him here. He can definitely take us to the next level.

“The fact that his name is linked to the England job shows how good he is and how well he’s done since he got here.” We do, however, want him to stay as long as possible. We’d like to stay with him.

Talk of Howe being in the running for the England job started while he and the team were in Germany for a pre-season training camp: Howe told reporters, “So, for me, this is all about Newcastle because I’m so proud to be manager of Newcastle.” The story isn’t about England. So, I haven’t thought of anywhere else but Newcastle as long as I am happy, feel encouraged, and can work the way I want to.

“I love the club so much.” I love a good crowd. I’m happy with my job right now. I couldn’t be in a better place. That’s how I feel.

“It’s not about England for me.” That is definitely not my talk, but someone else s. It’s Newcastle for me. To talk about something else while being Newcastle’s boss is wrong.

“I believe I don’t need to say the answer again.” It’s easy to see the answer.
