GK: Viljami Sinisalo – 6.6/10
He was unable to prevent Balodis’ header from a perilous delivery. Duke-McKenna’s reflex save was crucial. There was not much else to do.

RB: Alistair Johnston – 6.6/10

At moments, he established a strong connection with Kuhn. Did not receive a significant amount of attention in the future and was not subjected to an excessive amount of defensive pressure.

Cameron Carter-Vickers: 7.5/10

CB: Auston Trusty – 6.8/10
After missing the previous two matches, he has returned to the starting lineup in lieu of Maik Nawrocki. During certain moments, he appeared uneasy and nearly conceded a second goal by allowing Kimpioka to receive the ball midway through the second half.

LB: Jeffrey Schlupp – 6.5/10
The Saints’ strike was the result of the free kick that was given away. Balodis’ run was not marked from the resulting set-piece. Substituted at halftime due to inadequate performance.

CM: Callum McGregor – 6.3/10
By his standards, it was a relatively low-key match. He is not as influential as he typically is. On this occasion, he was unable to give his colleagues the fire they needed.

CM: Arne Engels – 6.4/10
Fisher’s efforts were unsuccessful during the initial half. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to generate a spark following the break. Substitute.

CM: Reo Hatate – 7.2/10

LW: Jota – 6.7/10
In short bursts, he appeared to be a threat; however, he was deprived of possession for an extended period during the first half. To conclude his day, he curled a free-kick from 20 yards that travelled a distance of miles over the bar. Substitute.

RW: Nicolas Kuhn – 6.3/10
I will not be attending the races again. His workrate off the ball was also subpar, and he was sloppy in possession. Substitute.

CF: Daizen Maeda – 6.4/10
Despite once again leading the line, it was evident that scoring was not a possibility in this situation. There were few clear-cut sightings of the goal, and it appeared that the player was in need of a break. Substitute.

Substitutes utilised: Greg Taylor (6.7), Adam Idah (6.8), Luke McCowan (6.3), James Forrest (6.5), Yang Hyun-jun (6.5).
