Arsenal
Report: Striker’s value could plummet to £60m in the summer, he prefers Arsenal to Chelsea.
According to reports, the striker’s value could fall to £60 million this summer, as he is more interested in joining Arsenal rather than Chelsea.Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal may be able to acquire Ivan Toney at a reduced cost if they both hold off until the conclusion of the current campaign.
The Mirror reports that Toney has indicated his preference between Chelsea and Arsenal.According to The Mirror, Brentford would probably contemplate an £80 million sale of the England international striker.Notably, the report indicates that Toney’s worth might decline to £60 million by the summer of 2024, with only 12 months remaining on his current contract.Toney, a player Tottenham Hotspur have been exhorted to acquire, may have preferred a transfer to Arsenal over Chelsea, according to The Mirror.
Ivan Toney ought to have chosen Arsenal over Chelsea.
Arsenal should be chosen by Brentford striker Ivan Toney rather than Chelsea, in my opinion. He would be adored by Darren Bent at the Emirates Stadium.
Toney is currently 27 years old and performing at his peak. It is my conviction that for him to depart Brentford, be it in January 2024 or the summer of 2024, he must join a club that is contending for major honours or is, at the very least, genuinely considering doing so.
Arsenal, not Chelsea, is that club at the present. This season, the Blues might not even finish in the Premier League’s top four. The Gunners are competing in the UEFA Champions League and are also contenders for the championship.
