Ruben Amorim and his coaching staff are exceedingly pleased with the “untouchable” Leny Yoro.
Lenny, a Manchester United defender, is reportedly one of the few untouchables at the club, and Ruben Amorim and his coaching staff are extremely satisfied with his advancement.
After sustaining an injury during the preseason, Yoro joined United from Lille in the summer and was required to wait an extended period before making his competitive debut for the club. Yoro has been awarded three starts in all competitions under Amorim since his official debut in a 2-0 away loss to Arsenal on December 4.
He has been one of the few positives in defiance of United’s struggles on the field. United earned a well-deserved point in their 2-2 thriller with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, as he began the match on the substitutes.
He ultimately replaced Matthijs de Ligt and played a critical role in assisting the Red Devils in avoiding defeat.Liverpool promptly capitalized on a United error in the 89th minute, when the game was evenly poised and both teams were striving for victory.
Arne Slot’s team advanced as Darwin Nunez claimed possession of the ball. The Liverpool attacker was on the verge of launching a shot at Andre Onana when the Uruguayan burst into the box.
However, a resolute Yoro intervened, delivering a perfectly timed last-ditch tackle to dislodge him. A few moments later, Yoro initiated a forward surge of his own, with the intention of creating a winner for the visitors.
It is evident that his efforts were not unnoticed, as evidenced by a recent report by Romano. Romano asserts that Amorim is a fervent supporter of Yoro and anticipates a promising future for him at Old Trafford. The Italian journalist stated on X, “RĂºben Amorim and his staff are extremely pleased with Leny Yoro and his progress.”
